Why seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof Job 24:1-2.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter Proverbs 25:2..

This site will attempt to search out the hidden things of God. It will be seen during this study that many of the Landmarks of the Bible have been thrown out, by so-called teachers, as insignificant. We will be searching for significance in any and all of the written Word.

We might as well address the corner stone verse of the nay sayers early on so that its position can be rightly understood. But of that day and hour knoweth no, man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only Mat.24:36. This verse according to many Christians and non-Christians would tell us to stop right here and not pursue the challenge of pointedly watching or looking for that day and hour, when Christ will return. If this was the case, then the very next verse seems to be out of palce for Christ himself says, But!!! Why if there is no challenge to understand this event does he confront us with the word; But? He gives us a starting point for this search. Mat.24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Christ said in the previous verse that his Father knows the time. Christ tells in in John 14:9...he that hath seen me has seen the Father;...In Mark 13:23 He uses that word again, But take ye heed: behold I have foretold you all things.

Christ and the Father being One means that they have foretold us all somewhere. Where do you suppose that place is? Obviously within the pages of the written Word we have been told all things, even the date of Christ's 2nd coming.

The disciples approached Christ one day asking him why he spoke in parables. And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given Mat. 13:10-11.

A person who doesn't see the mystery of the parables explained shouldn't wonder at the condition of the mouth he hears but rather to the condition of his own ears.

If I, here in the USA, stood before a gathering of people and said I would be back on turkey day most in the gathering would understand to watch for my return on Thanksgiving. The year would not be known but the day would.

This is what Christ did when he stood before the people and proclaimed concerning his return that is would be on the day that no man knows. There was a particular day know amongst the Jews that were gathered before him and it was known as The Day No Man Knows or Rosh Hashanah.

The challenge is for his people to search and understand what they read. The problem is not in the searching not in making statements of the findings. The problem becomes the proper attitude adjustment in ones own life concerning Christ's return. We are not to stop properly living our lives to wander off awaiting his return. We are not to run up and down the street shouting the end of the world. We are to work daily to put on the mind of Christ and put off the old flesh man.

Index of Landmarks (Page 1)

Landmarks; What are They?

The Hebrew word for landmarks by its use only once in the Bible establishes it to be of great importance. For instance the word eternity is found only once and we all know how important eternity is. The word landmark singular is found 4 times in the Bible. Each time this word is used a caution is given to not remove them. The word is used a total of 5 times in its various forms. The number 5 in Biblical numerics stands for grace. So we see that the landmarks are tied to the grace of God. The 5 references to landmarks point to the 5 fingered hand of God placed upon mankind to point the way to Christ.

There are 5 specific days mentioned in the days of Noah and the account of the flood. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord Gen.6:10. . Once more we have the word but and the 5 fingered hand of God at work explaining to Noah what to do and when the rain was to begin. This knowledge should cause each of us to repent of our fleshly ways and to put on the mind of Christ in preparation for the Day of the Lord. In The Revelation we see over and over the statement, and they repented not.

The Hebrew word landmarks is found in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance(SC) is #1367 a boundary, region, border, bound, coast, landmark, place. From #1366 a cord (as twisted), limit, quarter, space. From #1379 to twist as a rope, be border, set bounds about.

The landmarks of Job 24:1-2 have to do with pointing to the days of the Almighty. The verse extablishes the fact that if Gods own people were to recognize these landmarks they would also know his days. The question then becomes; What are his days? These are the 8 days of creation established in Genesis chapters 1 and 2. The day that we are presently faced with is the day that John speaks of in Revelation.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet. The Day of the Lord is the Sabbath Day which is the 7th day of Genesis 2:2. It is on this day that God rested. It will be on this day that Christ will establish his 1000 year day of rest upon the earth.

As an explorer moves through a new land he will notice features he can again use. Those features called landmarks make travel easier upon returning. They also allow him to explain to others directions based upon the location of the landmarks. These landmarks can be placed on a map for all who travel after to more easily find their direction.

Both Paul and Peter use the phrase strangers and pilgrims in referring to the children of God as they walk their journeys on the earth.

The Bible is the map given by God to mankind so as to allow their movement through this land as easy as possible and with the right outcome. It is not a hard jump in thought to expect that Father has located within the written Word, landmarks. As we study out the landmarks it must be understood that the writers of the Bible had no knowledge, at the time that they were writing, where their locations by numbers would be.

Many roads of trails can be traveled to reach any given location. The man said, You can go anywheres from here! This is not to say that there are many ways to reach Heaven for we know that Christ is The Way. Once the journey has been rightly begun many differing walks of life will lead us through the land. Today these differing walks tend to slant our understanding of God's Word by our own perspectives.

Personal thought, perspectives, ideas, group teachings, doctrines of men or feelings cannot be the landmarks that will direct we pilgrims of these last days to the right outcome. All of these change from people to people. There can't be two different Truths to a matter. Christ said he was The Truth and he is one.

Those Biblical statements taken be men and turned to point is several different directions only leaves a person lost and confused, which is the case for most Christians today.

The ultimate journey for the Overcomers in the last days is to be at the right spot in their journey at the right time when Christ returns. Said another way it is to be found watching. Watching what? The landmarks that the one who made the first journey established in his map, the written Word. Christ said he is The First and the Last. He recorded the landmarks, being The First, to allow us to be prepared for him in The Last or the end of the age.

Most highway signs today are spaced apart at certain distances with those distances marked on the sign. Example: food, gas, city, rest, and etc. so many miles.

The original manuscripts of the Bible were written without numbering of the chapters and verses. Yet, when it became important for mankind, God touched the heart of the many and the present King James with its numbering was placed on the sign and was mass distributed to men. This numbered map, The King James Bible, has been placed in more hands than all other Bibles combined. The numbering was not done by the men who penned the words but by another group of men and they some 1600 years later. The author of the original Word, God, was still alive and inspiring men even in 1611 despite what many say to the otherwise. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

In the following will be listed some of the landmarks, found within the Bible, catagorized by their placement on the map. Speculation or interpretation implied must be applied in The Light of the full standard of The Word. Interwoven around the landmarks are some other items (gematria, word translations, etc.) of interest that pertain to the last few years of this age.

The various interpretations of the written statements of The Word seen in respect to the end of this age have at present only confused the church. Men in charge of great flocks differ on many points of escatology. The landmarks stand dispite the various interpretations.

Words can and do have a varity of meanings. People interpret a single words meaning differently due to its presumed context within a sentence or paragraph. There is always the problem of simple misinterpretation of the thought or prophecy. Numbers are the only consistent part of our various languages. A numbers meaning doesn't change in any language and the potential to misinterpret is limited almost to ones ability to count.

Quite possibly the landmarks are the interpretation?

Landmarks of the Last Century

This site will begin at the starting point that Christ told us to begin in our search for the potential timing of his return. Christ told us to look into the days of Noah. Is there hidden within the days of Noah a key to understanding when the 2nd Advent will be? Yes I believe this can be proven.

There are a few basic landmarks that seem to point to a last century for this age, and for it to be a particular century. For instance Paul the great writer of most of the New Testament only has to his credit 100 chapters. Why just 100 chapters? Is this one for each year of the last century for this age? Paul wrote in Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Was Paul concerned with two things here? Was he trying to point to two items that his brethern were not to be ignorant about? One was the blindness issue and the other was the fulness or end of the time of the Gentiles. Paul did say in another writing that he understood all mysteries. We know that he didn't mark the chapters and verses but the same author, our Father, did thru the inspiration of other men at a later date.

Christ himself said that he would return as the days of Noah were . What are the days of a man? The days of a man would be his date of birth and his death. These are the dates we see recorded on a headstone. When we look back in Genesis to those verses that speak of Noah there are only 100 verses between his birth verse in Genesis 5:29 and the verse recording his death in Genesis 9:29. Christ is the Stone upon whom we are to build our lives. Christ is also The Word having been made flesh. It could be rightly said that Noah's days were recorded in the Stone of the Word, this becoming his headstone. Will the return of Christ be at the end of a particular 100 years? Does each verse about Noah represent a year of the last century of this age? Noah's name in Hebrew is SC#5146 and means rest. We see that by Christ refering us to Noah he is pointing to his day of the 1000 years of rest .

Enoch is another man who's days are recorded in the Word. His life was 365 years long. A note of interest about Enoch is that he seperates the 2 oldest men of the Bible. His grandfather Jared was 962 years old. His son Methusalah was 969 years old. The difference of 7 years between the ages sure brings our attention to the time of the end (7 years of Jacobs trouble). Enoch's age at death is the same as the days in our year. Actually a year is 365.25 days long. When we multiply the digits in a year (Enoch year) we see: 3x6x5 = 90 and 2x5= 10 , and what we get are figures pointing to the last century (90=10=100) and pointing to a decade within that century (90 thru 100).

If there was to be a last century for this age, the Bible definitely should document it well. What is meant by a last century is not to say just any 100 years prior to Christ's return, but rather a particular century running exactly with our present day calculations of the years. A year 1 being the first of the 100 with 50 being the 50th until the 100th year or next century is reached. In our present case it would also coincide with the turn of the millinieum as well. If this is the right century.

How can we determine which century that the Bible refers to as having special importance? We have already noted that by an item having been listed only once or just a few times in the Bible its rarity or importance is being stressed. This would relate to such items in the earth as precious stones etc.

The most important items for mankind are really those items that are in greatest abundance and available to all, such as, earth, water, air, etc. So we see that by something being in large amounts God places even greater value. It would appear that Father looks for both the least and the greatest for importance. He even stated this in Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, neither cold or hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. There is something about the least and the greatest that touches the heart of God.

What does this have to do with the last century of this age? The longest book of the Bible is Psalms. There are 1189 chapters total in the Bible. When we deduct off the 150 chapters of Psalms it leaves 1039 chapters for the other 65 books. This is just under 16 chapters per book compared to the 150 chapters of Psalms. Psalms is over 9 times greater in size then the average of all the other books of the Bible. In Biblical numerics the number 9 stands for Divine completeness, denoting finality in Divine things. Psalms certainly stands out for its size. The longest chapter in the Bible is found in Psalms. It is Psalms 119. drawing attention to itself by reason of its 176 verses.

The 119 of Psalms 119 certainly has a ring to it like the nineteen hundreds or 1900. The Bible by the weight of size placed on Psalms 119 seems to point to the century of the 1900's to have Divine finality for the present age.

To draw even more attention to itself, it is the only chapter of the Bible broken up into sections that each have a letter of the Hebrew alphabet as its heading. In Hebrew each letter of the alphabet is also a number. This is a key suggestive that each Hebrew letter and numbers are to be extremely important in the last century or the 1900's. There are 22 leters for the 22 sections, this is certainly comparable to the 22 chapters of Revelation. Most people understand that Revelation points to the last of this age and now we see the Psalms does as well.

The 119th Psalm follows just after the shortest chapter of the Bible, Psalms 117. Psalms 117 is the 595th chapter of the 1189 chapters total of the Bible. It is then found to be the middle chapter drawing attention to itself and those found in close proximity. The rarity of the least next to the abundance of the greatest.

The 117th Psalm speaks of the Nations. O Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

The 118th Psalm speaks of the Nations surrounding. Verse 10 All nations encompassed me about.... Verse 11 They encompassed me about... Verse 12 They encompassed me about.

The shortest chapter tells us that all the nations will Praise Christ. The next chapter tells us that all the nations will surround Israel. The 119th chapter tells us when this event will take place. It is not a strange thing that today Israel as small as it is is poked and pushed by the nations of the world to bend to their ideas of right. It has been in the 1900's that this has become the focus of the powers of the world. The nations of the world (United Nations) have Israel in bodage to accept their way of thinking. Yet we know that they, the nations, will one day submit and praise the Christ.

For the nay sayers it is written in Psalms 139:16 ...and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned...

The 1998th verse of Psalms is Psalms 119:39 found in the section "HE" or the "H". It is the "H" that was added to Abram's and Sara's names as patriarchs of the covenant. The "H" sounding like "breath leaving the lungs" is that which Father breathed into Adam. It is the promise of the victory given to the man of the covenant, Abraham. The "HE" or "H" is the 8th letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The #8 in Biblical numerics stands for new beginnings, which both Abram and Sara received. Will 1998 be a new beginning? Many are believing that 1998 will be the year of great happenings. It is interesting that in the Gospel of John the writer uses the word for believe 98 times. Will 1998 produce the finality of the last century and the end of this age

Landmarks and The Birth of Israel

The idea of there being landmarks within the Bible, determined by their position within it, needs a second witness for the idea to be of value. The positions which when found are determined by the numeric values placed on the chapters and by the men of 1611. There are those who say that Father authored the Bible using the men who wrote it as instruments thru whom he was able to inspire to write. But many of these same people deny that Father inspired the men of 1611 to do the work of their day. It is not consistent to the nature of our Father to inspire one work and not another when it comes to his Holy Word. There are men every Sunday who stand at pulpits believing themselves to be inspired as they expound the Word.

A second witness must be found for the idea of landmarks to ring true in its simplistic purity. The 1st witness having been Psalms 119 and its importance in pointing to the 1900's.

The best way to receive the second witness would be if something that has already happened could be seen and documented by the positioning of the numeric values given to the scriptures.

We know for a fact that God's chosen people declared their homeland of Israel on May 14, 1998. The Jewish people as well as the Christian peoples are covenant people. Both rise from the covenant God made with Abraham. Father made this covenant with Abraham and his seed and the covenant would not be denied. The 1st witness was found in Psalms it being the longest book and having the longest chapter of the Bible. The 2nd witness is also found in Psalms. The Psalms were mostly written by David who was the King of the Hebrew people. His throne was always to have a ruler and the ultimate ruler is to be Christ who will sit upon his throne. The Psalms though inspiring to the Christians can certainly be spoken of as the largest Jewish book of the Bible. Psalms is located in its position the 19th book from the front of the Bible and the 48th book from the back of the Bible. This obviously making up 1948 the year that the Jews got their homeland. The 2nd witness points to 1948.

The man, Abraham, with whom Father made the covenant also confirms the year 1948. This can be done by adding all the ages of the patriarchs of Abraham, at their begat ages, they total 1948. Abraham was born in the 1948th year from the creation of Adam. From Adam to the birth of Noah was 1056 years, Genesis chapter 5. From Noah to the birth of Abraham was 892 years, Genesis chapter 11. 1056 years + 892 years = 1948 years. The birth of Abraham was on a 1948th year just as the birth of Israel was on a 1948th year. This becomes the 3rd witness to the numeric positioning influence found within the written Word.

As always there will be nay sayers to this idea of landmarks. I repeat that is one does not hear the words of the parables is it the fault of the mouth speaking of the ear in hearing? Jesus gave us the answer!

The interpretation of the positioning of the landmarks may be found at fault but nevertheless the idea of the positioning influence has been proven sound and ringing of Truth by the 2nd and 3rd witness.

Concerning the birth of Israel in 1948 we arrive here in 1998 exactly 50 years later. 50 years as Bible scholars know is the jubile. A jubile year, referred to in Leviticus 25:8-9, was when the land was to be returned to its original owner. Leviticus 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

The instructions, of Leviticus 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath for the Lord; thou shalt neither sow thy field, not prune thy vineyard. teach us of an interesting fact. The children of Israel did not honor this command of God. God brought a judgement upon them after being in the land for 490 years. They were taken into captivity where they remained 70 years. This would be 1 year for each year that they didn't honor his commandment (7x70=490).

The jubile year for Israel is on May 14, 1998 and many question whether this is an accurate counting of jubilees. To me this day is very interesting because it falls on what the Jewish people call Lag B'Omer, it is the 33rd day after Passover. It is a day to celebrate the marriage of a person to God upon his death. Paul said that towards this end we as Christians were to die daily. The fact that this 33rd day is chosen by the Jews to celebrate reminds us of Christ dying upon the cross at age 33.

This present land (world) can be concidered the wilderness of the type that the children of Israel went thru before entering the Promised Land, to us this Promised Land will be the kingdom reign of Christ upon the earth for 1000 years. The children of Israel were 40 years in the wilderness. A date established for the birth of Christ is September 29, 2BC making September 29, 1998 exactly 2000 years later. Between the birth of Christ on 9/29/2BC and the date of 9/29/1998 there are exactly 40 jubilees (40x50=2000).

If Christ was to return in 1998 for the marriage of the bride then the 40 years or 40 jubilees of the wilderness type experience of the children of Israel would be fullfilled. Lag B'Omer begins on May 13, 1998 at 6:00 pm, this day on the Jewish calander is the 17th day of the 2nd month or the day that the flood began in Genesis 7:11.

The number 40 in biblical numerics stands for probation. The Jews had a period of probation of 40 years before they could enter the Promised Land. Do you suppose that the Christians were to have a probation period of 40 jubilees before they could enter the Promised Land? If this is true then we are definitely the living generation which saw the birth of Israel and the new millennium is upon us.
